The training is split with part one (theory and observation) completed in Perugia in Italy and part two (practical hands on training) in the UK (London as well as other locations). Both training locations are state of the art, clinical facilities and our UK locations hold full CQC registration.
We hold training on a monthly basis. Spaces are limited to three delegates per course so we would strongly advise booking in quickly as the dates do not hang around for long!
At MATA, we will only accept those who meet either of the following:
- UK and International Doctors are eligible for module one and UK Doctors with GMC registration are eligible for module two only
- Preferably English as a first language or evidence or English Language Testing System (IELTS) 7.0 in all component
Beyond our eligibility criteria, this course is perfect for doctors who are interested in setting up their own hair transplant practice with theory and practical hands on training from one of the world’s leading experts.
The course has been designed to build the foundation on this seven step framework:
- Patient selection – patient assessment
- Project surgery – plan which surgery the patient needs
- Anaesthetic technique
- Extraction technique
- Gestation of the graft – are the grafts viable or not? Recognise how much hair there is in one graft

Hair Transplant
We have split the course into two parts with a blended theoretical, observational and hands on learning approach in order to build you towards having the full foundation to hair transplants.
The course breaks down as follows:
- 3 Foundation Days: One theoretical day and two observation days – covering the foundation and theory to both FUE and FUT techniques
- 3 Advanced Days: Three days of practical hands on experience in FUE, treating up to 100 grafts a day
- Certificates: Course Certificate and Observation Sheet
- CPD Points: 40 minimum

Foundation Aesthetics & Dermal Fillers Training Course
This is the perfect course to introduce you to the world of facial aesthetics and is aimed at beginners. With two days of practical hands on training as well e-learning, it introduces you to a range of procedures and techniques. It can also be easily converted into a Level 7 Diploma at a later date as you build up your logbook both observing and performing a range of the most common procedures.
Hair Transplant Course
This is aimed at for those at an intermediate level to learn and practice more complex techniques and procedures. With two days of practical hands on training as well e-learning, you will build up your logbook both observing and performing some of the more advanced techniques under the supervision and guidance of our expert trainers.
